There has been a lot of speculation about Amazon launching in Nordics and finally there are some facts we are happy to share with you. So, here’s what we can now reveal:

  • The launch will take place very soon and the inbound shipments will be available in the coming weeks
  • Swedish fulfilment centers will be open for Sellers that have an established business in Sweden – other Sellers need to fulfil orders from German fulfilment centers
  • In addition FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon), FBM (Fulfilment by Merchant) will also be available meaning you can ships the goods yourself or utilise third-party logistics
  • It will be possible to sell and deliver to all Nordic countries from Amazon.se – European Fulfillment Network fees / export fees will apply
  • Amazon Prime will not be available at launch but will certainly be added at later on
  • Sweden will become an official Amazon language in the coming weeks and this means no more translated documents for account registration etc. – for now, English, German etc. are still the ones to be used
  • The option to change home marketplace to Sweden will also take place at some point
  • Amazon Advertising, Store fronts and A+ content will not be available at launch but added to the mix at later stages
  • Reviews from other European marketplaces will not be transferred to Sweden, at least for now
